Connected to the pharmacy’s entire stock, in real time.

The stock connection reads and writes in the management software the pharmacy already uses, to the second. It feeds everything else — voice assistant, Nexum Pharma, delivery, Nexum Pro — and helps the team spot stock anomalies, incomplete product sheets and products worth highlighting.

How the stock connection works

One stock, read and written in real time, for every platform of the pharmacy.

  1. Illustration of the stock connection: the pharmacy's management software linked to the Nexum agent, under the owner's mandate, to HDS servers in France

    1. An agent runs in the pharmacy, on its own

Installed in 48 hours, with no local server or hardware. The pharmacy has nothing to run or monitor; access is granted under a mandate signed by the owner.

  2. Nexum Pro stock connection screen: management software linked, last synchronisation, products retrieved and in stock

    2. Stock, prices and promotions come up in real time

The full catalogue of a large pharmacy goes through without breaking. The freshness of every piece of data is displayed: that is information in itself.

  3. Illustration of a single pharmacy stock read and written in real time by the voice assistant, Nexum Pharma, delivery and Nexum Pro

    3. Every channel reads and writes the same stock

Voice assistant, Nexum Pharma app and website, delivery platforms, Nexum Pro: what the customer sees is what is in the drawer. And what sells is written back.

One connector, whatever the software.

Every management software used in France, one single connector. The pharmacy changes neither software nor habits.

A pharmacist and a developer at the pharmacy workstation during the connection
  • Read and write, not read-only
What sells by phone or online is written into the pharmacy’s management software. No more double entry, no more Friday-night export.
  • Catalogues of 500,000 references and more
The full catalogue of a large pharmacy or a pharmacy group comes through without breaking, as a continuous stream.
  • Availability checked in real time◔ Rolling out
Availability is checked directly in the management software before answering, not assumed. Delivered on a first software, being extended.
  • Knows the state of the pharmacy, not just the stock
Closed, on call, overwhelmed: no order comes in when the pharmacy cannot handle it.

  • Pharmaland
  • Winpharma
  • SmartRx
  • Cristal
  • LEO

A connection that helps the team manage its stock.

The stock connection becomes a management tool: it flags what's off, the owner decides, it writes back.

Open stock drawer in a pharmacy: the stock connection detects anomalies and shortages
  • Stock and product anomalies flagged
Discrepancies between the shelf and the software, shortages, duplicate sheets, inconsistent prices: the connection spots them and proposes corrections in Nexum Pro. Nothing is changed without the owner.
  • Missing data in the management software
Photo, description, category, missing code: the incomplete sheet is flagged before being shown to the customer. The team completes it, the connection writes back into the software.

The full pharmaceutical price, one promotion instead of five.

Customer price, price excl. VAT, VAT, purchase price after discount, margin: the pricing model is the pharmacy's own management software.

A box scanned with a barcode scanner at the counter, to read its price and availability
  • The dispensing fee, separated from the price
Cleanly separated, as in the management software. That detail tells a pharmacist we know the trade.
  • A promotion entered once, propagated everywhere
It goes out to every platform where the pharmacy is present, with no new entry.
  • Catalogue quality check before publication
A wrong catalogue cannot be repaired afterwards. Incomplete sheets are flagged before being shown to the customer.
  • Equivalents and substitutions in case of shortage
An alternative is offered to the customer, on the phone as online. The decision stays at the counter.

Access to data happens under a mandate signed by the owner.

The connector is written by Nexum's teams, with no third-party service in between. Every operation is timestamped and logged.

Private consultation area in a pharmacy: a pharmacist receives a patient away from the counter
  • A mandate signed by the pharmacy owner● Available
The pharmacy owner signs, the scope of access is written down.
  • Encrypted at rest, with AES-256-GCM
A design constraint, not an option to switch on. HDS hosting, data processed in France.
  • Dated and logged
Origin and freshness of every piece of data exposed; every write into the management software is traced.
  • All written in-house
The connector, aggregation and distribution are written by Nexum’s teams. What is automated is data entry — never the decision.

Frequently asked questions

“Is it compatible with my software?” is every pharmacy owner's first question. The others follow.

Is it compatible with my pharmacy management software?

Six pharmacy management systems are ● connected: LGPI, Pharmaland, Winpharma, SmartRx, Cristal and LEO. The status of each system is published on the Integrations page.

Does anything need to be installed in the pharmacy?

No hardware. Access to the management software works with a mandate signed by the pharmacy owner and the Nexum agent installed on a computer in the pharmacy; setup takes 48 hours.

How often is stock updated?

In real time on LGPI and Pharmaland; the other connected systems are synchronised periodically.

Who has access to my data, and on what basis?

The pharmacy. Nexum processes its data on its behalf, as a processor within the meaning of Article 28 of the GDPR, under an access mandate signed by the pharmacy owner; health data is hosted in France on HDS servers.

What happens if I change software?

Nexum Pro, the Standard vocal and the online platform stay the same: only the stock connection is reconnected to the new software, if it is one of the connected systems. Their status is listed on the Integrations page.
