1. What a cookie is
1.1. A cookie is a small file placed on your device when you visit a website. It makes it possible to recognise your browser, remember your preferences or measure audience. This page describes the trackers used by nexum-technologies.fr and how to manage them, in accordance with Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act (loi Informatique et Libertés) and the CNIL guidelines.
2. The cookies we use
| Category | Purpose | Duration | Consent |
|---|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Remembering the light or dark theme you chose (nexum-theme, browser local storage — no cookie is set) | Until you clear it | Exempt |
| Audience measurement | PostHog — page visits and navigation paths, to improve the website. Hosted in the European Union (eu.i.posthog.com). No profile is created: the measurement remains statistical | 13 months (local storage, no cookie) | Required |
| Anonymous audience measurement | Visits counted by the website's own server: page viewed, referring site, device type, country. Nothing is placed on or read from your device; the IP address is not kept and no identifier can recognise you from one day to the next. Browsers sending the Global Privacy Control signal are not counted | 13 months (statistics on the server) | Exempt |
| Advertising and social media | No advertising or social media tracker is placed by the website | — | — |

3. Your consent
3.1. A banner appears on your first visit and lets you accept or refuse audience measurement with equal ease: two buttons of the same size, refusing takes no longer than accepting.
3.2. Until you have accepted, the measurement script is not even downloaded by your browser: nothing is placed, nothing is transmitted to PostHog. Only the anonymous count described in the table above takes place without consent: it places and reads nothing on your device. Your choice is kept for six months and can be changed at any time via the “Manage cookies” link in the footer. After that period, you are asked again.
4. Configuring your browser
4.1. You can also refuse or delete cookies from your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge). As the website sets no cookies, blocking local storage in your browser has only one effect: your choice of light or dark theme will not be remembered from one visit to the next.
5. Contact
5.1. For any question about trackers or to exercise your rights: contact@nexum-technologies.fr. The related processing is described in the Privacy policy.
