Data engineer — health data platform (HDS)

Build and run the data platform that feeds the connected catalogue, the voice assistant and Nexum Health AI's agents, under HDS constraints end to end.

The role

Every building block of the Nexum ecosystem produces and consumes data: the connected catalogue links pharmacy stock, the voice assistant generates transcripts, Nexum Health AI's agents rely on real histories. This data is health data, governed by the HDS constraint.

The role is to build the pipelines that collect, transform and expose this data reliably and compliantly, for the data, product and research teams.

What you will do

  • Design and run the data pipelines that feed the connected catalogue and Nexum's products.
  • Guarantee HDS compliance end to end: traceability, encryption, access segregation.
  • Make data available to data scientists and the research team, in a reliable and documented format.
  • Monitor data quality and freshness, and fix anomalies before they affect the product.
  • Work with the backend team to evolve the connectors to pharmacy management software.

What we are looking for

  • Solid experience in data engineering in production, pipelines and data warehouses.
  • A real sensitivity to the regulatory constraints of health data, or the wish to train seriously in them.
  • Fluent TypeScript or another backend language; experience with Go or Rust is a plus.
  • English for technical exchanges; French is a plus.
  • The rigour needed to handle sensitive data without ever cutting corners.
  • The pipelines carry health data under HDS constraints: data security and traceability are part of the role, at every stage.

What we offer

  • Fully remote, from any country; the team is already international.
  • An end-to-end technical stack, servers run by a dedicated team, with no dependency on an external provider.
  • An award-winning product, PharmagoraPlus 2026 Innovation Award, deployed in over 400 pharmacies.
  • A company opening new European markets, with a data ecosystem that grows alongside it.

The process, in four steps

  1. A conversation with the CTO.
  2. A technical interview on pipelines and HDS compliance.
  3. A live working session.
  4. A meeting with the team.

No quiz, no code link to provide: we prefer to see you work. Decision within 48 hours after the last step.
